Michigan Hospital Sued in Wife’s Death
Tuesday, April 19th, 2011
The husband of a woman who died while giving birth to triplets in 2007 has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit as a result of her death, reports News Channel 3 in Comstock Township, Michigan.
The lawsuit, against Bronson Health Care Group, Bronson Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Kalamozoo Anesthesiology and three doctors, claims the 42-year-old mother had a placenta condition which caused massive bleeding, and the doctors were negligent because there was not enough blood to save her life.
The triplets were delivered by cesarean section.
