Personal Injury Lawsuit Filed Against Indiana School System

A Shenandoah High School student who lost the tip of his right ring finger in an accident in 2009 has filed a lawsuit against the northwestern Henry County school corporation, reports thestarpress.com.

The then 16-year-old was performing a task in an agriculture shop class when his finger was pinched between a bale cattle feeder and a trailer, resulting in the loss of his fingertip.

The lawsuit alleges the Shenandoah Schools failed to adequately supervise the students, and the owner of the trailer and cattle feeder failed to use proper means to safely load the cattle feeder onto his trailer to prevent injuries to others.
