Thursday, March 24th, 2011
The parents of a 22-year-old woman have filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Dodge County Circuit Court (Wisconsin), reports the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen.
The woman died of blunt force trauma after being hit by a car in front of Beaver Dam Middle School at 1:36 a.m. on Nov. 28. The 19-year-old driver of the 1995 Honda Civic was seriously injured when he was ejected from the car as it struck the curb, a sign and a tree before rolling over on North Spring Street in Beaver Dam.
The lawsuit filed by the victim’s estate and her mother, names the driver, several auto insurance companies and several individuals as defendants since the ownership of the vehicle remains in question.
